What this program is

Cakewalk runs a text messaging assistant for small home-services businesses. Texts are sent from the business's assistant number about requests, bookings and the business's account.

Who receives texts

• Business owners who sign up for Cakewalk or request a preview, and agree to receive texts about their preview, their leads and their account.
• Customers of those businesses who contact the business through its website chat or by text and agree to receive texts about their request.

How you opt in

Business owners opt in by giving their mobile number on the preview request form on cakewalk.ai or when they keep their site. Customers opt in by agreeing, in a business's website chat, to be texted about their request, or by texting the business's assistant number first. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of any purchase.

Types of messages

• Lead alerts to business owners, and the owner's replies and instructions.
• Booking confirmations and reminders for estimate and callback times.
• Follow-ups about a request a customer has made.
• Account notices, such as preview links, site change previews and weekly summaries.

We do not send marketing or promotional messages through this program.

Frequency and cost

Message frequency varies with activity, such as how many requests come in and how many bookings are made. Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan.

Opting out and help

Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts from that number. You'll get one confirmation text, and no further messages unless you opt in again by replying START. Reply HELP for help, or email hello@cakewalk.ai.

Carriers

Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Privacy

Mobile numbers and text messaging opt-in data and consent are never shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. See our privacy policy for how we handle information.
