What this program is

Cakewalk builds and runs websites for small home-services businesses. These texts come from Cakewalk, to the business owners who use it, about their own Cakewalk account. Every text starts "Cakewalk:".

Who receives texts

Business owners who request a website preview from Cakewalk or sign up for it, and agree to receive texts about their preview, their leads and their account.

A business's own customers are not texted under this program. When a business texts its customers about their request, it does so from its own number, under that business's own text messaging terms, shown on its website.

How you opt in

You opt in by giving your mobile number on the preview request form on cakewalk.ai, or when you keep your site, and ticking the box to agree to texts. You can also text our number first. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of any purchase.

Types of messages

• New inquiries from your website (lead alerts), and our replies to your instructions.
• Bookings waiting for your approval.
• Previews of changes you ask for to your website, and confirmation when they're live.
• Account notices, such as your preview link and billing notices.

We do not send marketing or promotional messages through this program.

Frequency and cost

Message frequency varies with activity, such as how many requests come in and how many bookings are made. Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan.

Opting out and help

Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts from Cakewalk. You'll get one confirmation text, and no further messages unless you opt in again by replying START. Reply HELP for help, or email hello@cakewalk.ai.

Carriers

Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Privacy

Mobile numbers and text messaging opt-in data and consent are never shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. See our privacy policy for how we handle information.
